Senior Foreman

The Senior Site Foreman serves as the principal assistant and “right-hand” to the Construction Manager. This role bridges high-level project management with frontline execution. Responsibilities include coordinating site labor, subcontractors, and material delivery, ensuring that the Site Manager’s plans, schedules, and safety protocols are implemented seamlessly on the ground.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Site Manager Assistance: Support daily operations and supervise site activities during the manager’s absence or when managing multiple zones.

· Frontline Supervision: Lead and motivate direct labor, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure work aligns with engineering drawings and technical specifications.

· Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor daily progress against the master schedule, identify bottlenecks, report variances, and implement corrective measures.

· Material & Logistics Coordination: Manage delivery, storage, distribution, and security of materials and equipment to prevent downtime.

· Site Safety & Housekeeping: Enforce safety rules, conduct Tool Box Talks (TBT), and perform inspections to maintain a safe and orderly environment.

· Quality Inspections: Conduct routine checks to ensure workmanship and materials meet company standards and contract requirements.

· Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate site diaries, attendance logs, material delivery notes, and incident reports.

What We’re Looking For

· Education: Certificate/Diploma in Building Studies or related discipline. Apprenticeship or Foreman Training Course preferred.

· Experience: Minimum 5 years of site experience in civil infrastructure, telecommunications, or large-scale E&M projects, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

· Certifications: Valid local site safety qualifications (e.g., Green Card, TCP T1, site safety supervisor license).

· Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, logistics, and blueprint reading.
• Leadership ability with a firm, fair approach to managing workers and subcontractors.
• Clear verbal communication for technical instructions.
• Basic computer literacy for digital logs and updates.

· Languages: Fluency in Cantonese, Putonghua, and English to facilitate communication between management and site teams.
