Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

🚀 Forward Deployed Engineer - UK(Remote) - $120M Funded AI Infra Startup

We're growing the EMEA FDE team from 1 → 2. Early enough that you actually shape how this goes, not just inherit someone else's playbook.

The company:

💰 Just closed a $100M Series A

🌍 1M+ developers building on their platform

⚡ 20B+ inference requests processed to date

🇺🇸 🇪🇺 US, EMEA & APAC teams are running

The job, honestly:

You show up after the client's already sold. Your work starts where the sales conversation ends.

🧩 Sit with clients, figure out what they're actually trying to build

⚡ Get something working in front of them fast - not "on the roadmap," now

🔧 If the platform can't quite do it yet, you build the workaround yourself

📡 Take what you learn back to engineering - not a complaint, intel

What you'll bring:

🐍 Python, TypeScript, or Go - 2 of 3, fluently

🐳 Docker + Linux you can actually troubleshoot

🤖 Real experience with agentic systems, inference, or fine-tuning

🗣️ Comfortable dealing directly with customers - you've sat in the room

🧠 Curiosity that doesn't quit when the problem's one you've never seen

Why now:

There's already someone building in-region - now it's time to go from 1 person to a real team. You'd be helping shape how this company shows up across the whole timezone.
