About the Role

As a Shared Service Center Operator Freight Forwarding for Air Transports, you act as the backbone and focal point of our EU freight forwarding operations. You take care of shipments, status updates; manage internal customer related issues and all other questions, with the aim of informing our operations/customer service employees who have dealings with our customers as quickly and efficiently as possible by providing the internal organization with the necessary information

Your Responsibilities

• Onboard / Implement new clients in the Shared Service Center in Bratislava
• Stakeholder management to local branches, but also with external clients.
• Transportation planning and booking activities for ocean including capacity planning, shipment planning, carrier selection, routing, scheduling and tendering.
• Complete and review shipping (and customs) documentation
• Monitor shipments and customs clearance status; resolve shipment exceptions and complications if they arise.
• Track and monitor customer, and organization logistics KPIs and cost performance.
• Support freight cost payment, management, and timely invoicing.
• Request and check purchase invoices and reimbursements
• Support process improvement efforts.
• Maintain relationships with logistics providers and government agencies.
• Make sure we are compliant to all relevant regulatory and compliance policies, both internal and external.
• Identify frequency and cause of service inconsistencies, failures and deviations, take corrective actions.
• Support acquisition of transport mode capacity including spot booking.
• To liaise effectively with other departments.
• Ability to manage disputes and claims
• Work according the applicable SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain environment;
• Knowledge of tracking processes is an advantage;
• Communicative knowledge of English is necessary;
• Good knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, PP);
• Client-oriented mindset;
• Team player.

The gross monthly salary for this posi tion starts from 1800 E U R per month. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualification.
