Senior Front-end Developer for GenAI

We’re partnering with a large international financial organisation to recruit a Senior Front-end Developer for a growing GenAI product team in Vilnius.

This is not a standard front-end position. You’ll design the user experiences through which employees and corporate customers interact with production-grade AI-covering conversational interfaces, streaming responses, source citations, file uploads, approval workflows and human review.

The opportunity

You’ll work in a multidisciplinary team alongside backend engineers, designers and data scientists, turning complex AI capabilities into intuitive, responsive and trustworthy products.

The wider platform is built on AWS using Amazon Bedrock, RAG and agentic workflows. Your focus will be ensuring these capabilities are presented to users clearly, safely and reliably.

What you’ll be doing

• Building responsive and accessible applications using React and TypeScript.
• Creating interaction patterns for chat, streaming responses, citations, tool calling and file uploads.
• Designing approval flows, progress indicators, failure states and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Integrating front-end applications with APIs, RAG solutions and agentic workflows.
• Writing high-quality code, reviewing pull requests and resolving complex technical problems.
• Working with design, backend, platform and data science teams.
• Ensuring products meet the security, accessibility and compliance standards of a regulated environment.
• Monitoring latency, token usage, tool failures and user outcomes.

What you’ll bring

• Strong commercial front-end development experience with React, TypeScript and modern web applications.
• Experience delivering GenAI or LLM-powered functionality into production.
• Familiarity with conversational interfaces, streaming, RAG, tool calling or source citations.
• An understanding of AI-specific risks such as prompt injection, sensitive-data exposure, authorisation and cost controls.
• Strong product judgement and the ability to simplify technically complex functionality.
• Confidence collaborating across engineering, design, data and machine-learning teams.

• €5,000–€7,500 gross per month, depending on relevant experience.
