Job Title: Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Our client are a semiconductor company looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to do hybrid working from their site in Paris.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the front-end technical vision, architecture, and technology roadmap for our products.

• Design and deliver scalable, robust, and maintainable GUI solutions, contributing hands-on to critical features where required.

• Lead architecture, design, and code reviews while championing engineering best practices, code quality, and technical standards.

• Mentor and develop engineers, fostering technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across the team.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Backend Engineering, QA, and customer-facing teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or related field

• Recognized expertise in modern Front-end development (React, TypeScript or equivalent technologies).

• Strong software architecture experience for complex systems.

• Extensive experience with large-scale desktop applications.

• Experience with UI test automation (Playwright or similar technologies).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and technical leadership abilities.

• Proven experience mentoring software engineers.

• Fluent French and English.

Desirables:

• Experience with semiconductor EDA tools or related domains.

• Knowledge of graphics performance optimization, rendering technologies, and large-scale graph visualization.

• Experience defining and driving technical standards across an engineering organization
