Senior Frontend Developer

One of our clients in Luxembourg is searching for a Senior Angular Developer to join their team and support the evolution and modernisation of their Mobile/Web applications. The role will initially be for 6 months, with renewals likely.

The Senior Angular Developer will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and improving front-end applications while contributing to new projects and technical modernisation initiatives. This is a cross-functional role requiring strong technical expertise in front-end architecture, application performance, security, accessibility, and software quality.

Required Tasks;

• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Analysing incidents and resolving complex front-end issues through debugging, browser developer tools, and root cause analysis.
• Managing Angular version upgrades, dependency updates, and obsolescence-related activities.
• Identifying opportunities to improve application architecture, performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Implementing front-end security best practices, including secure authentication flows, input validation, and vulnerability management.
• Integrating front-end applications with REST APIs and back-end services.
• Developing reusable UI components and ensuring responsive, accessible, and consistent user interfaces.
• Contributing to modernisation and redesign initiatives while ensuring compatibility with existing systems and web and mobile interfaces.
• Implementing and maintaining automated unit and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and reliable production deployments.
• Producing technical documentation and collaborating with back-end developers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.

Required previous skills;

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in front-end development, with strong expertise in Angular.
• Strong knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
• Experience with Angular services, dependency injection, routing, reactive forms, RxJS, and state management.
• Good understanding of front-end architecture, reusable components, responsive design, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous operations, errors, and application state.
• Strong knowledge of front-end security principles, web performance optimisation, and accessibility standards.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with browser debugging, performance profiling, and code quality tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on clean code, maintainability, and software quality.
• Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Experience working with native iOS or Android technologies is an advantage
