Who we're looking for: a Frontend Developer to join our video player team.

What You’ll Be Working With

• Our codebase is primarily written in vanilla JavaScript, with some occasional work in Svelte. Previous experience with Svelte isn’t required—it’s a lightweight framework that’s easy to pick up.
• There’s also some legacy PHP code you may need to work with from time to time, although we’re gradually phasing it out.

What We Expect From You

• Strong command of vanilla JavaScript (ES2015+), a solid understanding of how the language works, and experience conducting code reviews;
• A good understanding of client-side and server-side rendering;
• Hands-on experience with at least one popular UI framework, such as React, Vue, or Svelte;
• Good knowledge of TypeScript 4+;
• A solid understanding of object-oriented programming;
• A willingness to dig into the code and understand how things work, even when using AI-powered tools;
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of your work.

Nice To Have

• Experience with video-on-demand technologies, HTML5 video, or HLS.js;
• A general understanding of backend development, particularly PHP and Node.js;
• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as LESS or SCSS, as well as the BEM methodology;
• Experience writing tests with Jest and Testing Library;
• A solid understanding of asynchronous programming and multithreading;
• Good judgment and an eye for quality :)

What We Offer

• No bureaucracy and flexible working conditions.
• Extended benefits package, including private medical insurance, tax support, language courses, professional education, and all necessary hardware.
• Relocation support: coverage of travel expenses for you and your family, visa assistance, and the first month of accommodation.
• A friendly, international team that values professionalism and open collaboration.

Work format: Remote

Salary: from €3,500 net per month. The final compensation level may be higher and depends on relevant experience, skills, and overall match with the role requirements.
