Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to build, enhance, and maintain user-facing applications within the Cortex ecosystem. The candidate should have strong frontend development skills, a solid understanding of application architecture, and the ability to troubleshoot complex UI and integration issues while maintaining the stability of existing features.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive, reliable, and user-friendly frontend applications.
• Understand the existing Cortex UI architecture, component structure, application flows, and backend dependencies.
• Take ownership of frontend backlog items, defects, enhancements, and technical issues.
• Build reusable components and maintain consistent UI behavior across the application.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs.
• Investigate UI defects, browser issues, performance bottlenecks, and API integration failures.
• Write clean, maintainable, modular, and testable frontend code.
• Develop unit tests, component tests, and end-to-end tests as appropriate.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, UX/UI teams, Product, Architecture, DevOps, and partner teams.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering standards.
• Document frontend architecture, integration dependencies, and technical changes.
• Support knowledge transfer and the transition of Cortex platform ownership to the Hyderabad team.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of frontend or UI engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and reusable component development.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous application workflows.
• Understanding of state management, browser debugging, frontend security, and performance optimization.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks and automated testing practices.
• Proficiency in Git, code reviews, debugging, and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to analyze existing applications and improve them without introducing unnecessary redesigns.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and independent delivery skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with design systems, component libraries, accessibility standards, and UI performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with micro-frontends and complex enterprise application architectures.
• Experience supporting production applications and troubleshooting cross-layer integration issues
