Bridgit

About Us🚀
Bridgit is a leading non-bank lender transforming the way Australians access property equity. Purpose-built to make property transactions faster and easier, we pioneered the Buy Now, Sell Later solution – empowering homeowners to unlock their property equity and move on their terms. With a simple digital application, fast approvals, and flexible loan options, we’re making property finance seamless and stress-free.
We’re now five years old and making huge strides. We have accredited over three-quarters of Australia’s broker network, and launched white label solutions with Australia’s largest aggregators – Connective, Aussie Home Loans, Finsure, and Loan Market Group – and we’re just getting started.
Our momentum has been recognised with awards such as Best Growth Story at the 2025 Fintech Awards, 2025 Finder People’s Choice Award for Lending Innovation, the finalist for Excellence in Lending (Business &amp; Consumer) at the 2025 Finnies, Deloitte's tech fast 50 2025 and finally; being recognised as one of LinkedIn’s top 20 Start Up’s in Australia 2025.
The difference you’ll make
You’ll be instrumental in shaping the front-end experience of our lending platform as we continue to grow our industry-leading products. Working across customer, broker and internal tools, you’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering to translate ideas and designs into intuitive, high-quality user interfaces that feel consistent, considered and genuinely easy to use.
Beyond delivery, you’ll help raise the bar for UI and UX across the business; challenging conventions, refining our front-end codebase and influencing how we think about design-led development. Your work will directly impact how customers experience their home-owning journey and help set the standard for how modern lending products should look and feel.
What you’ll do:
<ul>
<li>Build and develop performant, delightful user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the product &amp; tech teams to implement feature designs across our customer and internal software.</li>
<li>Write robust, well-tested code and proactively identify areas for technical improvement or refactor.</li>
<li>Share ideas and improvements backed by sound technical reasoning.</li>
<li>Execute AI-led engineering to design, build, and accelerate the delivery of modern applications.</li>
<li>Contribute to design and code reviews, support peers, and maintain the technical bar of the team.</li>
<li>Mentor and elevate other engineers, championing engineer best practices and a culture of quality.</li>
</ul>
What we're looking for:
<ul>
<li>5 years + working as a front end developer.</li>
<li>5+ years experience with ReactJS and React Native.</li>
<li>Strong Javascript and Typescript fundamentals and deep understanding of the web platform.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience building and shipping mobile applications.</li>
<li>Experience working with Expo framework and mobile deployment workflows.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design patterns.</li>
<li>Experience integrating mobile applications with APIs and third-party services.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Apple App Store and Google Play Store release processes.</li>
<li>Experience working with AI-driven solutions is a strong plus.</li>
<li>Comfortable taking ownership of features end-to-end from architecture to delivery and thrive in environments where you drive the “how”.</li>
<li>You enjoy mentoring others, offering constructive feedback, and lifting the technical bar.</li>
<li>Thinks from first principles and can break problems down to fundamentals instead of relying on patterns or libraries by default.</li>
<li>Ambitious individual who has a passion for UI, UX and be part of a growing business.</li>
<li>Positive attitude to the day to day with good interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Attention to detail in documentation and ticket descriptions.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills.</li>
</ul>
