Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer – ship GenAI into production at a fintech

We are the AI lab of a Hungarian fintech group that runs POS terminals and digital banking products. Our AI is in production: a customer-service chatbot, AI evaluation of sales and service calls, call-transcript analysis, AI candidate assessment. They run on real transactions and real customer conversations, with multi-provider LLM routing, evaluation gates and a DPIA behind each of them. We need a senior engineer who builds both the brain and the body of these products, and keeps them running.

What you will do

• Build LLM-backed services that survive production: multi-provider routing and fallback, typed errors, timeouts, chaos and load tests
• Build RAG and agent flows over our knowledge bases, with prompt-injection screening and output redaction
• Own quality with golden datasets, Promptfoo rubrics and evaluation gates before every release
• Ship the frontend (Next.js, TypeScript), the backend (Python, FastAPI) and the operations side (Terraform, AKS, Grafana)

What you bring

• 5+ years of production software engineering, and at least one GenAI feature you took to production and measured
• Strong Python; a modern web stack in production; you deploy and monitor what you build
• You can explain what you built, and why, to a non-technical executive
• Hungarian is a strong advantage
• Small senior team, flat organisation, real consequences. You start in one of our product teams and take over the engineering of the next one.
