Job Summary

The Senior Full Stack AI Engineer will architect, develop and scale AI-powered digital products, delivering secure, high-performing and production-ready solutions across the entire technology stack. The role is strategic: designing platform architecture, building AI-native applications, integrating emerging AI technologies, and ensuring products scale securely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, deploy and maintain scalable end-to-end features across web, desktop, mobile, backend services, APIs and AI-powered applications.

Architect and continuously improve frontend and backend systems, microservices, APIs, databases and infrastructure.

Design and optimise AI solutions, including LLM integrations, AI agents, RAG pipelines, MCP services, vector databases, background processing systems and third-party integrations.

Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers and other stakeholders to turn business requirements into production-ready software.

Lead engineering excellence through code reviews, quality standards, testing strategies, stronger CI/CD pipelines and secure, maintainable practices.

Drive innovation through technical research, architectural improvements, performance optimisation and cloud infrastructure enhancements.

Take on other projects and responsibilities as assigned to support business objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.

Minimum of 6 years' experience developing modern full-stack applications.

Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend architecture.

Strong experience building scalable backend systems with Python and FastAPI.

Demonstrated experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems and modern software architecture.

Proven experience integrating LLMs and AI capabilities into production applications.

Strong grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, testing methodologies and secure development practices.

Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Agile methodologies.

Excellent analytical thinking, debugging, communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience building AI-first or SaaS platforms is an advantage.

Experience with Electron desktop apps or React Native mobile development is desirable.

Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP is desirable.

Experience with observability, monitoring, performance optimisation, vector databases, AI orchestration frameworks and agentic AI systems is desirable.
