Senior Full Stack Backend Developer (Financial Service Industry)

Develop and maintain backend services and business logic using Java

Build and maintain Spring Boot based backend applications and services

Design, develop, and maintain databases, including writing queries, managing data, and ensuring efficient database performance

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enable communication between frontend, backend, middleware, and external/vendor systems

Desing and optimize database structures and SQL queries to ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable data processing within trading platform

Manage source code using Git, including version control, branching, code commits, and collaboration with other developers

Support project cloud based infrastructure and backend services by working with AWS services such as EKS, RDS, and ElastiCache

Support automated build, testing, deployment, and application management for project using CI/CD tools and Kubernetes based environment

Apply Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and unit testing to ensure project maintainable, scalable, testable, and production ready

Support integration between a project middleware, internal systems, and external vendors, ensuring reliable communication across the platform ecosystem

Apply knowledge of financial/trading systems and transaction processing to support the development

Work with business teams, project managers, and technical teams to understand project requirements and translate them into functional and scalable technical solutions

Develop and maintain project frontend components and user interfaces using Vue.Js, and integrate them with backend services through RESTful APIs

Requirements & Qualifications

Strong programming knowledge in Java

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot Framework

Strong understanding of MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server

Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs

Familiarity with database design, SQL queries, and database optimization

Experience working with Git/version control

Familiarity with AWS (EKS, RDS, ElastiCache)

Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Kubernetes)

Proven track record of implementing Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and Unit Testing

Familiarity with middleware and system integration

Experience in financial services, securities, banking, or trading platforms

Able to understand technical requirements and translate them into functional software solutions

Experience with Vue.js
