ABOUT EAZYERA

EazyEra builds custom software, business automation, AI-enabled systems, integrations, internal tools, and other technical solutions for businesses.

We are looking for experienced independent software contractors who can take ownership of assigned client projects from technical kickoff through production delivery.

This is not an employee position and does not provide a fixed monthly salary or guaranteed monthly project volume.

Contractors are engaged on a project basis according to active EazyEra projects, technical fit, capacity, and availability.

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR RELATIONSHIP

This role is an independent contractor engagement, not an employment relationship.

Contractors provide professional technical services to EazyEra on a project-by-project basis and remain responsible for independently performing the technical work they accept, subject to the agreed project scope, security requirements, quality standards, client commitments, and contractual obligations.

There are no guaranteed working hours, guaranteed project assignments, or guaranteed monthly income.

EazyEra controls the contractual scope, customer commitments, security requirements, acceptance criteria, and commercial process. Contractors retain responsibility for determining how to perform the technical work appropriately within those requirements.

Specific rights, responsibilities, payment conditions, confidentiality requirements, intellectual-property obligations, security obligations, and termination terms are defined in the Independent Contractor Agreement.

HOW PROJECTS WORK AT EAZYERA

EazyEra operates through a structured project system rather than allowing developers to independently make commercial commitments to customers outside the company process.

• A project is sold and formally approved before engineering work begins.
• Client payment activates the appropriate development phase.
• EazyEra assigns projects according to technical fit, capacity, availability, and project requirements.
• A Primary IT contractor and, where appropriate, a Backup may be assigned.
• The assigned contractor must acknowledge the assignment and identify any legitimate availability, technical, or conflict issues before taking responsibility for the project.
• Once a project assignment is accepted, the contractor becomes responsible for the technical delivery obligations associated with that assignment.
• The Primary contractor becomes the main technical delivery contact and may communicate directly with the client regarding requirements, clarification, demonstrations, and technical matters.
• Development follows the approved Contract/SOW and project milestones.
• Contractors must not silently add features or continue into project phases that have not been commercially authorized.
• Requirements outside the approved scope must go through EazyEra's Change Request process before implementation.
• Development is followed by appropriate testing, security review, client acceptance/UAT where applicable, payment gates, deployment, and handover.
• After handover, the project enters a 7-day delivery warranty covering defects attributable to the delivered scope.
• Warranty support is ticket-based. It is not unlimited development, monitoring, or free ongoing support.
• After the warranty expires, additional technical work requires paid Hypercare, an approved Change Request, or a new project.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for understanding the approved requirements and existing architecture before making changes; designing sensible technical solutions; building frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, databases, automation, and AI functionality when required; communicating professionally with clients; reviewing and testing your work; debugging problems; and delivering production-ready software.

You are expected to recognise when something falls outside the approved scope and escalate it instead of implementing unapproved additional work.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate engineering and security standards.

This includes, where applicable:

• Authentication and authorization
• Input validation
• Secure secrets and credential handling
• Dependency security
• Secure API design
• Appropriate data protection
• Safe production logging and error handling
• Backup and recovery considerations
• Least-privilege access
• Avoiding unnecessary security exposure
• Appropriate testing before deployment

You are expected to understand the consequences of the technical decisions you make rather than simply producing code that appears to work.

AI-ASSISTED DEVELOPMENT

EazyEra uses OpenAI Codex and AI-assisted engineering extensively.

AI is an engineering tool. It is not the party responsible for the project.

You must understand, review, test, and take responsibility for code produced with AI assistance.

Blindly accepting AI-generated code is not acceptable.

Contractors are expected to:

• Understand the architecture they are modifying.
• Critically review AI-generated changes.
• Detect incorrect assumptions and insecure implementations.
• Identify unnecessary complexity.
• Test functionality and relevant failure cases.
• Investigate regressions.
• Reject or modify an AI-generated implementation when necessary.
• Use AI resources proportionately to the complexity of the task.

Detailed internal AI usage and model-selection policies are provided during onboarding.

The human contractor remains responsible for architecture, correctness, security, testing, scope compliance, and the final production result.

CLIENT COMMUNICATION

Contractors working on EazyEra projects may communicate directly with clients during project delivery.

Professional written and spoken English is required.

You must be able to:

• Ask appropriate questions when requirements are unclear.
• Explain technical limitations without unnecessary jargon.
• Manage expectations realistically.
• Provide appropriate technical progress updates.
• Communicate professionally when problems occur.
• Keep discussions within the approved project scope.
• Escalate commercial or contractual questions to EazyEra.

Contractors must not independently promise additional scope, pricing, discounts, deadlines, contract modifications, refunds, or other commercial commitments that have not been authorized by EazyEra.

HOSTING AND DEPLOYMENT

Client production workloads are not hosted on EazyEra's internal company VPS.

Projects are deployed to infrastructure owned by the client or provided through an approved EazyEra hosting/provider arrangement.

Depending on the project, contractors may be responsible for deployment, configuration, integrations, SSL/network configuration, technical handover, and troubleshooting.

Access to customer infrastructure and credentials must follow EazyEra's security and least-privilege requirements.

Responsibilities must remain clearly separated between EazyEra software, client configuration, hosting providers, and third-party services.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.

Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals.

Experience with frontend and backend development, REST APIs, databases, Git/version control, deployment, debugging, and production systems.

Good understanding of application and API security.

Ability to work with unfamiliar codebases and understand existing architecture before modifying it.

Ability to determine an appropriate technical solution instead of forcing every project into the same framework or technology stack.

Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.

Ability to independently investigate bugs and production issues.

Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as OpenAI Codex while retaining full understanding and responsibility for the resulting work.

Professional written and spoken English.

Ability to work independently while complying with agreed project scope, security requirements, quality standards, and customer commitments.

Ability to identify risks and escalate problems instead of concealing them or making unauthorized decisions.

This position is not intended for entry-level developers.

COMPENSATION

This is an independent, project-based contractor engagement.

Standard project delivery compensation is 10% of the applicable project value for projects assigned to, accepted by, and completed by you under EazyEra's project compensation rules.

Compensation is tied to legitimate project delivery and applicable project/payment milestones rather than simply receiving an assignment.

There is no fixed monthly salary and no guaranteed monthly project volume.

Exceptional performance may receive additional discretionary bonuses.

Exact payment triggers, project eligibility, reassignment rules, cancellation treatment, and other compensation conditions are defined in the Independent Contractor Agreement.

PAID HYPERCARE

After the 7-day delivery warranty expires, customers may subscribe to EazyEra's paid Hypercare service.

Hypercare is currently priced at 5% of the original project value per month.

When you are assigned responsibility for an active Hypercare account, you receive 20% of the Hypercare revenue for the period in which you remain assigned and responsible for providing the covered service.

Hypercare may include monitoring, health checks, maintenance, incident handling, and operational fixes according to the customer's coverage.

New features, redesigns, new integrations, or expanded requirements are not automatically included in Hypercare and must follow EazyEra's normal scope and commercial process.

ENDING THE CONTRACTOR RELATIONSHIP

Either party may terminate the general independent contractor relationship by providing at least 14 calendar days' written notice, subject to the terms of the Independent Contractor Agreement.

Giving notice stops the expectation of accepting future assignments. It does not automatically cancel obligations for projects or Hypercare accounts that the contractor has already accepted.

A contractor who has an active assignment must cooperate with EazyEra's transition process, including reasonable technical handover, documentation, repository and access transfer, status reporting, and knowledge transfer necessary to protect the customer and allow another authorized contractor to continue the work.

Existing project obligations, compensation, handover requirements, and reassignment procedures remain governed by the applicable contractor agreement and project terms.

EazyEra may immediately suspend access or terminate the relationship for serious contractual, security, confidentiality, fraud, misconduct, customer-safety, or similar material breaches as defined in the Independent Contractor Agreement.

HIRING PROCESS

Applicants who pass the initial screening will complete EazyEra's technical assessment.

The assessment evaluates practical software engineering, debugging, security awareness, architecture and technical reasoning, Git workflow, problem solving, and responsible AI-assisted development.

The assessment does not involve performing unpaid work on an active EazyEra customer project.

Successful candidates proceed to final review and Independent Contractor Agreement onboarding.

EazyEra is looking for experienced developers who can take real technical ownership of production software while operating responsibly within a structured client-delivery system.
