Senior Full Stack Developer

About the role

WeSupport, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing technology team on a contract basis. This is a pivotal role that will contribute to the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge applications and digital solutions. Based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying full stack applications that drive our business forward. As a senior developer, you will play a strategic role in mentoring junior team members whilst maintaining the highest standards of code quality and best practices.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 7 years of professional full stack development experience with proven expertise in both frontend and backend technologies
• Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C# and their associated frameworks
• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks including React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Demonstrated expertise in backend development with frameworks such as Node.js, Django, Spring Boot, or ASP.NET
• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases, including SQL and NoSQL technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work through complex technical challenges independently
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior development team members

Key responsibilities

• Achieve top-notch digital customer experience by building, operating, and maintaining the platform for over one million customers of the project.
• As team members, they will work across multiple disciplines including front-end, back-end, architecture, security, DevOps, and native apps.
• Be a member of a cross-functional delivery team, working with Product Managers, Analysts, UX Designers, and other Software Engineers to ship new features and fixes.
• Develop the code for small, well-scoped components and features and work with the team to release them to production.
• Work with your Tech Lead and other mentors to continue to learn and grow.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies and technical discussions.
