Senior Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our growing team in Tangier.

You will work on existing SaaS platforms that are already in active development and moving into commercial growth. This is not a junior execution role. We are looking for someone who can take ownership, critically review existing code, understand complex systems, identify technical risks, and help us build a strong and scalable development environment.

You will work closely with an existing senior developer who has extensive knowledge of our current systems. One of your main responsibilities will be to develop a deep understanding of the full codebase and gradually become independently capable of maintaining, improving, deploying and troubleshooting the platforms.

We are specifically looking for someone with a high professional level in both Django and JavaScript.

Strong experience with Python/Django backend development is essential, but you should also be comfortable working extensively with JavaScript on the frontend and understanding the full application flow from frontend to backend.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain existing SaaS applications
• Build and maintain applications using Python and Django
• Develop and improve frontend functionality using JavaScript
• Design and maintain REST APIs
• Work with Django REST Framework and API-driven architectures
• Work across frontend, backend, databases and integrations
• Review existing code critically and suggest improvements
• Identify technical debt, scalability issues and potential security risks
• Build new features from concept to production
• Debug and resolve production issues independently
• Perform code reviews and maintain high development standards
• Understand and improve system architecture
• Work with third-party APIs, integrations and AI-related functionality
• Manage and understand deployment processes and production environments
• Create clear technical documentation
• Improve reliability, maintainability and performance of the platforms
• Work closely with other developers while being able to challenge technical decisions when necessary
• Help establish professional development processes as the development team grows

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong professional experience with Python
• Advanced experience with Django
• Advanced experience with JavaScript
• Strong experience with Django REST Framework
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
• Experience working on real production applications
• Proven experience with SaaS platforms or complex web applications
• Strong full-stack development knowledge
• Excellent understanding of backend development
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and database design
• Experience with third-party API integrations
• Good understanding of software architecture and scalable application design
• Experience with Git and professional code review workflows
• Experience with deployments, servers and production environments
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand an existing and potentially large codebase quickly
• Ability to independently investigate and resolve technical problems
• Ability to take ownership of complete features and technical components
• Comfortable reviewing and challenging existing technical decisions
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
• Good communication skills
• Professional working proficiency in English
