We are looking for a Senior Java Technical Lead to take technical ownership of an existing application and support the team through knowledge transfer, architecture, development, and continuous improvement.

🔹 What you will do

• Take technical leadership of an existing application

• Lead backend development using Java, Spring/Spring Boot and Microservices

• Drive technical decisions, architecture and design best practices

• Review code and ensure high development quality standards

• Support Knowledge Transfer (KT) and a smooth transition of responsibilities

• Act as the technical point of contact for the project

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and key stakeholders

• Contribute to backlog refinement, estimations and technical planning

• Support CI/CD, testing and release processes

• Mentor developers and help grow the team's technical capabilities

• Contribute to frontend development or support frontend architecture when required

🔹 What we are looking for

• Strong experience with Java 8/11/17+

• Solid experience with Spring, Spring Boot and Microservices

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs

• Previous experience as a Tech Lead, Team Lead or Senior Developer with leadership responsibilities

• Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns

• Experience with SQL and relational databases

• Experience with Git, CI/CD and build pipelines

• Experience with Agile/Scrum

• Frontend experience with Angular, React, TypeScript or JavaScript , or willingness to contribute to frontend activities

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• English B2 or above

☁️ AWS, Azure or GCP

🐳 Docker / Kubernetes

🏦 Banking, financial or enterprise systems

🔄 Full-stack development

📚 Experience taking over existing systems and managing KT transitions
