Role Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our development team and build complex, interactive, data-driven applications with advanced visualization capabilities. The role combines hands-on development, software design, technical leadership, and end-to-end ownership of solutions from early-stage prototypes and MVPs through production.

How you will make an impact:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications
• Initiate and build new projects from the ground up, including early-stage prototypes and MVPs
• Translate product ideas and requirements into well-structured software designs
• Build interactive user interfaces with a focus on usability and performance
• Implement and maintain backend services and APIs
• Participate in software design and architecture discussions
• Work with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews and technical decision-making

What you’ll need:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
• At least 8 years of professional software development experience, including significant experience designing and developing complex software systems
• Proven experience serving as a technical leader or principal-level contributor on multidisciplinary development projects
• Experience developing software for medical devices, healthcare systems, or other regulated environments
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js
• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks, preferably React
• Experience working with AWS or a similar cloud provider
• Strong software development experience with Python
• Solid knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Proven experience developing interactive applications, including complex data visualization
• Proven experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Strong understanding of system performance, scalability, reliability, security, and observability
• Strong interpersonal skills

What else we look for:

• Experience with 3D visualization and performance optimization in interactive or real-time environments
• Experience building or integrating machine learning systems, including LLM-based solutions and production ML inference pipeline
• Strong understanding of performance, latency, resource utilization, and scalability considerations in interactive and real-time applications.
• Advantage: Knowledge of edge software architecture, hardware integration, local data processing, device communication, and synchronization between edge and cloud environments
• Advantage: Experience integrating software with GPUs, cameras, video capture devices, sensors, or other specialized hardware
