Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

Role overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to design and develop enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Scala, Akka, Angular, Cassandra and Microservices architecture , along with a proven track record of delivering highly scalable, resilient, and maintainable software solutions.

The role requires hands-on architectural ownership, mentoring of engineering teams, and close collaboration with product, UX, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

On a typical day you will:

Technical Leadership

• Drive architectural decisions, technology selection, and engineering best practices.
• Review and approve solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation approaches.
• Identify and address technical debt while improving system maintainability and scalability.
• Act as a technical mentor and guide for development teams.

Full Stack Development

• Design and develop backend services using Java, Scala, and Akka.
• Develop responsive and performant frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain microservices-based solutions following cloud-native principles.
• Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven services.
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration practices.

Architecture & System Design

• Design highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Develop event-driven and reactive applications using Akka and modern architectural patterns.
• Define standards for security, observability, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to improve deployment and operational excellence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Product Management, UX, QA, DevOps, and Business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Facilitate technical discussions and architecture reviews across teams.
• Support release planning, risk assessment, and project estimations.
• Drive alignment between engineering initiatives and business objectives.

Quality & Engineering Excellence

• Champion best practices in software engineering, clean coding, testing, and design patterns.
• Establish and enforce coding standards and development processes.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex production issues.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in: JavaScalaAkkaAngularTypeScriptMicroservices ArchitectureREST APIsDistributed Systems
• Solid understanding of: Object-Oriented DesignReactive ProgrammingEvent-Driven ArchitectureDesign PatternsPerformance OptimizationDatabase Design
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as ELK, Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and technical leads.
