Your Task

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer to develop new and maintain existing source code of applications in programming languages like Java, ASP.Net or C# based on requirements of internal or external customers. These applications support automation of business processes.

You will be part of Project Gigabit, helping to build the Gigabit Business Framework, an innovative platform that brings ultra-fast gigabit connectivity to customers across Europe. This project revolutionizes how internet services are delivered by introducing smart technologies even before fibre is physically deployed, allowing infrastructure rollout based on demand, instant service activation in connected homes, and dynamic pre-sales activities supported by modern automation and cloud-based solutions.

As a Senior Application Developer, you'll work in an agile, international team where your ideas make a real impact. The team releases directly into production, continuously improves based on real feedback, and collaborates closely across teams to create robust, scalable, and future-ready solutions.

The focus areas include transitioning from monolithic systems to a decoupled API architecture, utilizing cloud solutions including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and private cloud for sensitive data, and migrating from on-premise setups to cloud infrastructure. The team implements Scrum methodology and SAFe in projects, ensuring dynamic collaboration and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and maintain existing source code of applications
• Work in SCRUM team on developing and building complex application solutions for customer DTAG
• Serve as professional mentor for junior and medior developers
• Listen to user requests and consult with internal/external customers and project managers
• Analyze customer's requirements and propose overall application/framework design of midsize application architecture including interfaces and relational database structure
• Provide complex business analysis to build application functionality
• Provide project estimates and timeline including total number of development hours, testing hours, and bug fixing, and report to customer for budget planning in advance
• Implement customer's requirements based on specification in selected object-oriented programming language into functional and user-friendly application
• Provide testing of programmed functionality before deployment to avoid bugs and ensure quality of code
• Implement security concept according to PSA policy in developed application to ensure accordance with DTAG standards
• Take part in internal evaluation processes
• Hold product responsibility from technology point of view
• Negotiate with PO/PM about technology stacks used in project

Your Profile

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer with strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React and Angular), backend development with Java and Spring Boot, and experience in agile software development methodologies. The ideal candidate should possess excellent soft skills and be capable of mentoring junior developers while working in an international team environment.

Salary:

• Base salary range: €3,100-€3,700 gross per month
• Variable compensation component included
• Additional financial benefits provided
• Base salary will not be lower than €3,100 gross

Salary depends on seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
