Work Arrangement: Work from Home
Location: Philippines - Makati/Ortigas/Pampanga (Angeles)/Cebu

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Ownership

  • Assume technical ownership of the member-facing application.
  • Manage ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and platform stability.
  • Work with external vendors to facilitate knowledge transfer and transition activities.
  • Identify technical debt and opportunities for platform modernization.

• Full Stack Development

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy new features across frontend and backend systems.
  • Deliver high-quality, scalable, secure, and maintainable code.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technology decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.

• Cloud & Infrastructure

  • Support and optimize applications hosted across Azure and AWS environments.
  • Manage deployment processes, monitoring, and system performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve application reliability, scalability, and security.

• Database Management

  • Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL database solutions.
  • Develop efficient data models and database performance strategies.
  • Support data integrity, backup, and recovery processes.

• AI Integration & Innovation

  • Evaluate and implement AI-driven features and integrations.
  • Work with modern AI services, APIs, and automation technologies to improve operational efficiency and member experience.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases.

• Technical Leadership

  • Provide architectural guidance and development best practices.
  • Establish coding standards, documentation, and development processes.
  • Support future team growth and contribute to building an internal engineering capability.

Non-negotiable skills and requirements:

• Strong commercial experience in React frontend development.
• Strong commercial experience in Elixir backend development.
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience supporting and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure environments.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• Experience designing and supporting full-stack web applications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern software architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization.

AI & Emerging Technologies

• Demonstrated experience delivering AI integration initiatives within production applications.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM services, intelligent automation, or machine learning capabilities into business platforms.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical AI-enabled solutions.
