Senior Full Stack Developer - Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design full-stack solutions end to end, from technical requirements and system architecture through development, deployment, and optimization.
• Design and develop scalable applications using relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including database schemas, data models, queries, and migrations.
• Build and integrate microservices-based architectures using modern communication and messaging technologies such as gRPC, Pub/Sub, event streaming, and WebSockets.
• Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and contribute to scalable and reliable deployment environments.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines while following secure DevOps and software engineering best practices.
• Evaluate and adopt AI-assisted development tools, including AI coding assistants and autonomous development agents, to improve engineering productivity and solution quality.
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, product teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Drive technical discussions, architecture decisions, and solution documentation.
• Ensure solutions are designed with scalability, security, maintainability, performance, and reliability in mind.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or full-stack development.
• Proven experience in architecting and designing full-stack solutions from end to end.
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, data modeling, and database migrations.
• Strong technical knowledge of microservices architecture and messaging/event-driven technologies such as gRPC, Pub/Sub, event streaming, and WebSockets.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized technologies.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and secure software development practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as AI coding assistants and AI agents.
• Excellent communication, technical documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in capital markets, custody, or trading platforms.
• Exposure to blockchain, distributed ledger technology (DLT), and tokenization of real-world assets (RWA).
• Experience working in a highly regulated environment and understanding its impact on technology delivery.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of JVM, Kotlin, or Rust.
• Experience working with large-scale event-driven systems.
