Our client is a fast-growing, Series A supply-chain technology company that is completely rebuilding the global e-commerce infrastructure. By shipping directly from manufacturing hubs in China to consumers worldwide—while maintaining a fully domestic delivery experience (local carriers, local tracking, and 3-5 day delivery)—their platform allows brands to entirely skip the traditional months-long container-and-3PL cycle.

Production can ship the day after it's made, compressing traditional supply-chain timelines from roughly 4 months to a single day, freeing up massive cash flow that brands reinvest into growth.

Originally founded as a venture-backed D2C company, the team pivoted to a B2B model in 2023 after realizing their supply chain was their real competitive edge. Revenue has doubled-to-tripled every year since. Their core ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) consists of high-growth DTC brands doing $1M–$50M+ in revenue, ranging up to enterprise and public companies.

About the Role: Senior Full-Stack Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer based in Europe to own and scale major pillars of this global supply-chain platform—including the B2B merchant portal, the core logistics engine, and heavy-duty API/EDI integrations with OMS/WMS/TMS systems.

Our client believes that with modern AI coding tools, writing code has become cheap; what is scarce is engineers with high agency and business context who understand the underlying problem, anticipate pitfalls, and communicate exceptionally well. Your closest engineering collaborator for this role is based in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: Own major architectural modules from schema design all the way to a polished frontend.
• Core Logistics Infrastructure: Build resilient, fault-tolerant systems for international shipping routes, customs data, and real-time tracking.
• Heavy-Duty Integrations: Build and maintain enterprise-grade API & EDI integrations with complex OMS/WMS/TMS systems (focusing on idempotency, retries, and dead-letter queues).
• Asynchronous Execution: Work efficiently across a globally distributed team; document clearly and keep momentum high without relying on real-time meetings.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience.
• Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Distributed Systems: Robust cloud-native / event-driven distributed systems experience (GCP preferred). Comfortable handling fault tolerance, race conditions, eventual consistency, and flaky third-party APIs.
• Data & Storage: Pragmatic data judgment across PostgreSQL, NoSQL/Firestore, and analytics engines (such as ClickHouse or BigQuery).
• Career Consistency: A proven background at B2B companies with solid career stability (no long strings of 1-year stints; not looking for project-based, freelance, or agency loan-out backgrounds).
• High Business Context: Excellent written communication skills; someone who seeks to understand the "why" behind the product, not just the ticket.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Domain experience in logistics, supply chain, fintech, or e-commerce.
• Power user of modern AI development tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code).
• Experience working with Shopify/WooCommerce or shipping/carrier APIs.

Logistics & Compensation

• Location: Fully Remote within Europe (UK, Spain, France, Ukraine, Portugal, Germany, etc.). Candidates must be able to overlap a good chunk of their workday with US Eastern Time (EST).
• Compensation: Competitive base salary benchmarked to local market and candidate expectations + Series A equity. (Please note: Compensation is highly competitive for Europe but is not targeting top SF/NY bands).
• Employment Structure: Employed locally via an Employer of Record (EOR).
