Senior Full Stack Developer/Engineer (GoLang/JS)| Remote

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer/Engineer with strong expertise in GoLang and JavaScript to join our Engineering team.

The role requires extensive experience in the analysis, design, and development of software applications, with a strong focus on backend development and delivering scalable solutions that meet business requirements. You will work closely with a Scrum team to build, maintain, test, and continuously improve applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using GoLang and other relevant frameworks.
• Develop high-quality software components based on business requirements, technical specifications, and established development standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional and Scrum teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Understand end-user needs and contribute recommendations to improve UI/UX and overall user experience.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and application-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve applications, systems, and development processes.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to recommend and implement process and application improvements.
• Ensure high-quality development practices while delivering solutions within agreed timelines and requirements.
• Write and maintain automated tests whenever applicable to ensure code quality and system reliability.
• Take ownership of applications and components developed, including ongoing maintenance and improvements.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, on-call rotations, and other engineering activities as required.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, development practices, and engineering standards.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related IT course.

Experience

• At least 6 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong experience in software analysis, design, development, troubleshooting, and application maintenance.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience in eCommerce is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in GoLang.
• Experience with GORM.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Redis.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture is preferred.
• Experience or familiarity with Lambda, SQS, RabbitMQ, and RESTful APIs is an advantage.
• Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Shell Scripting is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical and application issues.
