Senior Full-Stack Engineer

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer who can take ownership of complex engineering challenges, contribute to technical decisions, and help build reliable, scalable software solutions.

About the Role

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Nexorlio, you will work on production applications and client projects using modern frontend, backend, database, cloud, and AI-related technologies.

You will be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, including architecture discussions, technical planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working independently, collaborating with distributed teams, and taking ownership of delivering high-quality software from concept to production.

This is a fully remote U.S. position. Candidates must be available during U.S. business hours and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services.
• Build modern frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and related technologies.
• Develop backend APIs and services using Node.js, Python, or comparable technologies.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, third-party services, and external platforms.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning.
• Translate business requirements into practical and maintainable technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested production code.
• Review pull requests and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Debug complex production issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Improve application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Work with cloud platforms and production infrastructure.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, clients, and company leadership.
• Help establish engineering standards, best practices, and development processes.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers when needed.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant full-stack development experience.
• Strong professional experience building frontend applications with React.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript development.
• Professional backend development experience with Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and backend architecture.
• Professional experience working with PostgreSQL, SQL, or other relational databases.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining production web applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows and code reviews.
• Experience writing automated tests and maintaining software quality.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to independently analyze problems, propose solutions, and deliver results.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker and container-based development workflows.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with serverless architectures and cloud-native applications.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Experience integrating AI-powered features, LLM APIs, or AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, or prompt engineering.
• Experience working with SaaS products or enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering processes.
• Experience working directly with clients or cross-functional teams.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
