We help businesses and marketing teams create, manage, and publish video content more efficiently. Today, hundreds of companies use Vedio to streamline their video production workflows and produce thousands of videos every month.

We're a small, ambitious team building a product our customers genuinely love, with a strong focus on simplicity, automation, and AI.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to collaborate with us on the next phase of Vedio's growth.

As our first engineering partner outside the founding team, you'll work closely with the CTO and founders on product development, technical decisions, platform evolution, and AI-powered workflows.

This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to contribute across the entire stack, from backend systems and infrastructure to frontend applications and third-party integrations.

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving real customer problems, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a small, fast-moving environment.

We're looking for a long-term collaboration, starting with an initial 3-month contract and an expected commitment of 5 days per week.

For the right person, we're open to discussing a transition to a full-time role with equity participation and the opportunity to help shape the future of the company.

What You'll Work On

- Building AI-powered features using LLMs and agentic workflows

- Building video creation and editing workflows

- Building new product features across our Laravel, Next.js, and FastAPI applications

- Designing and improving AI-powered workflows and automation systems

- Developing integrations with platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Stripe

- Improving infrastructure, scalability, and reliability across AWS, Google Cloud, and Fly.io

- Helping shape technical architecture and product decisions

Our Stack

Laravel, Next.js, TypeScript, FastAPI, FFmpeg, MySQL, AWS, Google Cloud, Fly.io, Docker, PostHog, and modern AI tooling including Claude Code and Codex.

Hiring Process

- 30-minute intro call with the CTO

- 30-minute call with the 3 co-founders

- 3-day paid technical trial on a real Vedio project

- Technical debrief and feedback discussion

- 3-month freelance collaboration if there's a mutual fit

For the right person, we're open to discussing a full-time position with equity participation at the end of the initial contract.

We don't believe in coding challenges or LeetCode style interviews. Instead, we prefer to pay candidates to work on a real project, solve real problems, and determine together whether there's a strong long-term fit.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

- A customer-first mindset and a strong focus on delivering real value to users

- Experience building and shipping production SaaS applications

- Ability to work independently and take ownership

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

- Comfortable working across backend, frontend, and infrastructure

- Fluent in English

Nice to Have

- Experience working in an early-stage startup environment

- Experience working in small teams with high ownership and autonomy

- Experience building AI-powered products and workflows

- Experience with Laravel, Next.js, or FastAPI
