Senior Full Stack Java / Angular

About the opportunity 

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Java / Angular Developer to join a team of around 10 developers working on the design and development of a brand-new application. 

This is the main priority for the project, with a strong focus on modern software architecture, clean code and scalable development practices. We are looking for someone who is genuinely Full Stack and comfortable contributing to both the backend and frontend. 

Your responsibilities 

• Design and develop a new application from scratch using modern technologies and architectural principles. 

• Develop robust backend solutions using Java 17 and frontend applications using Angular. 

• Contribute to the design and implementation of microservices architectures. 

• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to structure business logic and applications. 

• Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and promote high-quality, maintainable code. 

• Work with Hexagonal Architecture and modern software engineering practices. 

• Collaborate closely with developers, architects and business stakeholders within an Agile environment. 

• Participate in Mob Programming, code reviews and technical discussions. 

• Contribute to architectural and technical decisions throughout the development lifecycle. 

Must-have requirements 

• 10+ years of professional software development experience. 

• Strong and recent experience with Java 17. 

• Strong experience with Angular, ideally Angular 21. 

• Proven hands-on experience with DDD (Domain-Driven Design). 

• Strong experience with TDD (Test-Driven Development). 

• Solid understanding and practical experience with Hexagonal Architecture. 

• Strong experience with Microservices Architecture. 

• Genuine Full-Stack expertise, with the ability to work comfortably on both backend and frontend development. 

• Experience working in Agile development teams. 

• Ability to start ASAP. 

Nice to have 

• Experience with Angular 17+ and modern Angular ecosystems. 

• Previous experience with legacy Java applications, particularly Java 8, JavaFX and Swing. 

• Strong Front-End expertise, particularly for candidates with a Java/Angular background. 

• Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications. 

• Previous experience contributing to applications developed from the ground up.
