Take a leading role at BRINEL as a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer. You will guide the development of scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular or React. You’ll architect secure, high-performance RESTful APIs, manage both SQL and NoSQL databases, and lead efforts in event-driven system features. Your expertise will contribute to improving our CI/CD pipelines and ensuring top code quality.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular or React
• Architect and implement secure, performant RESTful APIs with seamless integration to internal and third-party systems
• Manage SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), including data modeling, migrations, and performance tuning
• Develop event-driven features using messaging systems such as ActiveMQ or Kafka
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI), automating builds, tests, and deployments
• Drive code quality and maintainability through comprehensive testing, code reviews, and best practices adherence
• Contribute to system architecture and technical documentation, mentoring team members
• Work closely with QA, Product, and DevOps teams to deliver robust features from concept to release
• Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with demonstrated leadership
• 4+ years backend experience with Java (preferably Java 17/21) and Spring Boot
• 3+ years frontend experience with Angular (14+) or React (18+)
• Strong understanding of REST, HTTP, and API integration best practices
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with message brokers like ActiveMQ or Kafka
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows and version control (Git, GitLab)
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional Agile teams
• Demonstrated experience with code reviews, technical documentation, and delivering high-quality software

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience with IntelliJ IDEA
