Pay Range: $70 - $85/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build agentic workflows that operate against real operational data, including tool and function interfaces.
• Implement entity and object schemas in a custom ORM-style data framework with authorization and validation rules.
• Develop full-stack web applications using Next.js (React and TypeScript), API routes, and modern frontend patterns.
• Extend integrations with enterprise systems of record, including custom objects and automation logic.
• Define API contracts, data migration strategies, and rollback patterns for systems running in parallel.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) as a core part of the workflow.
• Identify and automate manual business processes in collaboration with operations stakeholders.
• Participate in the team on-call rotation for the tools you build, addressing production issues as needed.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript , with experience in modern React frameworks ( Next.js preferred).
• Demonstrated experience building LLM-backed features in production, including tool and function calling, retrieval, and prompt engineering.
• Strong SQL and relational data modeling skills, including experience with entity-modeling frameworks, ORMs, or GraphQL schema design.
• Experience integrating enterprise or third-party platform APIs into production applications.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants as a primary development workflow.
• Sound judgment about where autonomy is appropriate and where human oversight is necessary.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work independently.
• Command of the full software development lifecycle, from analysis to delivery.
• Strong troubleshooting instincts in production systems.
• Experience with agent frameworks, orchestration, or multi-step tool-using systems.
• Experience building evaluation and regression testing for LLM systems.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise CRM or ERP platform development.
• Familiarity with data warehouse technologies (e.g., Hive, Spark, BigQuery).
• Experience with distributed event-streaming or message-bus systems (e.g., Kafka, Pulsar, Kinesis).
• Background in building internal business or operations tooling, particularly around budgets or finance workflows.
