Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Analytics & Automation)

• This position demands a high level leadership, mentoring other engineers and helping to design and architect scalable solutions. In this role, you will face a huge array of challenges - from building scalable systems to designing new product features

• Build and ship product features end-to-end
• Ability to write clear and well defined design documentation
• Mentor fellow engineers
• Lead application architecture decisions
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software bugs
• Implement back-end APIs in Python and Node.JS
• Work on our React, Vue, Ember SPA front-ends
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers
• Participate in an Agile software development life cycle
• Write well-designed, maintainable & testable code
• Be product-minded and think about the customer
• Work with Python, Django, TypeScript, Node.JS, React, Ember, Docker, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc
• Contribute to open-source projects

• Experience with a modern front-end framework (React, Vue, Ember, Angular, etc.)
• Motivation to work hard and always be learning
• Experience with a web framework such as Django or Rails
• 8+ years of experience developing web based applications
• Experience guiding high quality work through delivery across multiple developers
• Experience writing software tests
• Ability to solve technical problems independently
• B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience writing REST / JSON APIs (Swagger / OpenAPI Spec)
• Experience with React or Ember.JS
• Experience working on SaaS web applications
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform
• Experience with Node.JS and modern ES6 or TypeScript
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS
• Bonus: Docker or Kubernetes experience
