About the Opportunity:

The SENIOR FULL STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER II is responsible for leading the development and scaling of customer-facing reporting solutions. This role focuses primarily on backend engineering, particularly using Ruby on Rails, to design and deliver robust, scalable reporting platforms and features that enhance customer experience. The position contributes directly to expanding the organization's product capabilities in reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the next generation practice management reporting platform with a focus on robustness, scalability, and usability
• Lead the technical design and implementation of complex reporting features, including AI-enabled data access and infrastructure improvements
• Collaborate with product teams to define features aligned with customer needs and proactively address potential issues
• Write and coordinate the creation of clean, efficient, and well-tested code prioritizing performance and scalability

Requirements:

• 8+ years of senior full-stack engineering experience with deep expertise in Ruby on Rails or similar web frameworks
• Experience with large language models and AI coding tools such as Cursor, Codex, and Claude Code
• Strong systems design skills across APIs, distributed systems, observability, and reliability related to reporting and analytics
• Proficient in SQL with exposure to dbt
• Familiarity with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or DynamoDB and knowledge of data warehouses like Snowflake, AWS Redshift, ClickHouse, or StarRocks
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale web applications with an emphasis on clean and simple code
• Understanding of automated testing, particularly in AI workflows
• Proven mentoring experience
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in remote team environments using tools like Slack, GitHub, Linear, Notion, and Zoom

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Base Compensation Range 208000 to 260000 USD annually
