Your New Role

As a Senior Full Stack TypeScript Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance applications that power the organisation's digital platform ecosystem. You will work across the full technology stack, contributing to backend services, frontend experiences, system architecture, and deployment processes.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge financial technology products while collaborating with a highly driven engineering team focused on innovation, scalability, and product excellence.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and deploying scalable full-stack applications using TypeScript
• Building and maintaining backend services and APIs with Node.js
• Developing modern, responsive interfaces using React and Next.js
• Designing database schemas and optimising data models for performance and scalability
• Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and system integrations
• Contributing to the full software development lifecycle, from ideation to production support
• Building automation tools and scripts to improve development efficiency
• Exploring and adopting new technologies, tools, and engineering best practices
• Collaborating closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions

What You'll Need to Succeed

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development experience
• Experience working on production-grade enterprise applications
• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and modern engineering practices

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Solid experience building backend services using Node.js
• Experience with frameworks such as:
  • Express.js
  • Hono
  • Other modern TypeScript backend frameworks
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs or GraphQL services
• Experience with relational databases such as:
  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
• Knowledge of:
  • Database architecture
  • Query optimisation
  • Data modelling
• Familiarity with ORM technologies such as Prisma or Drizzle
• Frontend experience with:
  • React
  • Next.js
• Experience with authentication, integrations, and API security best practices
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as:
  • GitHub Copilot
  • Cursor
  • Claude Code
