Senior Fullstack Developer - Backend Heavy

About the Role

We are looking for a talented backend heavy fullstack developer (5+ years exp.) with expertise in Django, fastapi and familiarity with OpenAI and AI automation. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications, ensuring they are scalable, high-performing, and user-friendly.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and related technologies.
• Work with PostgreSQL for database design, queries, and optimization.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following Agile best practices.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and deploy to AWS or similar infrastructure.
• Integrate data storage solutions such as databases or third-party APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements.
• Conduct code reviews and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Debug and troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Analyze client requirements and develop a strong, effective solution.
• Coach junior team members and foster their development.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python, with solid experience using Django and FastAPI.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with React.js for frontend development.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application workflows.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
