We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join a dynamic, international team in Lisbon.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise web applications, delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and implementation to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance web applications using Java and modern frontend technologies.
• Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Develop and optimize SQL procedures and queries for efficient data access and transaction processing.
• Integrate applications with enterprise systems using established integration standards and best practices.
• Design, implement, and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Conduct code reviews, refactor existing code, and improve application performance and maintainability.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, software architecture principles, and security best practices.
• Perform debugging, static code analysis, and security vulnerability scanning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Support application delivery across development, testing, and production environments.
• Contribute to continuous delivery practices and cloud-native software development.

🔹 Required Technical Skills

• Java: 6+ years of professional development experience, including Java 21.
• Backend: Strong experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Microservices: Experience designing and developing microservice-based architectures.
• Frontend: At least 2 years of experience with Angular and JavaScript.
• Database: Strong SQL development skills, preferably T-SQL/Sybase or a similar transactional database.
• Testing: Experience with JUnit 5, Mockito, and integration testing.
• Containers & Cloud: Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes; AWS ECS is a plus.
• Version Control: Strong Git knowledge, including branching strategies.
• Build Tools: Experience with Maven and Gradle.
• ORM: Knowledge of Hibernate or other ORM frameworks.
• Software Engineering: Understanding of design patterns, clean code, software architecture, and development best practices.
• Delivery: Experience with Agile development methodologies and continuous delivery in cloud environments.

🔹 Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or a related field.
• Proven professional experience developing enterprise web applications.
• Expert-level English , both written and spoken.
