Senior Functional Safety Engineer (Chassis)

• Plan, coordinate and monitor project functional safety activities
• Perform Safety Analyses (HARA, FMEA, FTA, DFA )
• Develop Functional Safety Concept for Chassis System (steering, braking, suspension, etc.)
• Develop Technical Safety Concept for Chassis system or Sub-systems of Chassis (e.g., EPS, ESP, EPS, Active Suspension System)
• Lead Hardware Software Interface definition
• Support safety requirement implementation on Hardware level
• Support safety requirement implementation on Software level
• Support safety calibration
• Lead safety verification and validation activities in various levels
• Perform review of project safety deliverables in accordance with ISO 26262 and responsible for the overall quality of project safety deliverables
• Support proactive sales tasks, if necessary, including budgetary responsibilities
• Independent processing of scientific and/or technical development problems, when necessary also pro-actively.
• Professional guidance of staff, e.g. by means of job-related mentoring.
• Other tasks assigned by Team Leader Qualification: -Techncian college certificate, Bachelor degree or above, major in Automation engineering
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in functional safety or Chassis system or Chassis sub-system software development
• Excellent vehicle dynamic knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of control strategies for chassis system
• Capability to predict the effect of systems actuation on vehicle dynamics through simulation tools (Matlab/simulink)
• Capability to assess and understand the effect of chassis systems actuation on vehicle performance
• Deep understanding of standards and regulations for steering and/or braking system (ECE R13/R79, etc.)
• Familiar with ISO 26262, SAE J2980, GB/T 34590
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Delivery focused, with demonstrable track recorded of on-time delivery
• Good team player, self-motivated
