Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with 10+ years of software testing experience and strong knowledge of the Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in functional, system, and integration testing, along with expertise in test planning, test scenario development, test execution, and defect management.

The candidate should be comfortable analyzing business requirements, validating complex business workflows, and collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute functional, system, and integration testing activities.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases.
• Develop test plans, test scripts, and test data for complex business workflows.
• Perform end-to-end testing across Capital Markets applications and systems.
• Validate trade lifecycle processes, clearing and settlement, brokerage operations, and wealth management workflows.
• Manage test execution, defect reporting, tracking, and resolution using JIRA and qTest.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support testing throughout the SDLC.
• Maintain test documentation, provide status reports, and communicate testing risks and results.
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing methodologies, and best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software testing.
• Strong experience in functional, system, and integration testing.
• Solid Capital Markets domain knowledge, including trade lifecycle, clearing and settlement, brokerage operations, or wealth management.
• Experience in requirements analysis, test scenario creation, test case design, and test execution.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and qTest for test management and defect tracking.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Pershing product knowledge, including NetX360, NetXInvestor, or related clearing and custody platforms.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Testim, or similar.
• Knowledge of SQL for backend data validation and testing.

Work Location

This is an on-site position in San Antonio, TX. Candidates must be willing to work on-site. Remote work is not available.
