As a Senior Functional Tester , you are not just validating features — you are safeguarding quality, driving improvements, and shaping the way we test. You play a key role in ensuring our software meets the highest standards while collaborating closely with analysts, developers, and fellow testers across teams.

Your Role

As a Senior Functional Tester, you are responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and overall quality of new and existing features within Miles.

You will:

• Design, document and execute functional test scenarios and test cases
• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into structured test approaches
• Detect, document and follow up on defects in close collaboration with development teams
• Contribute to test automation initiatives and help improve automation frameworks
• Support integration, regression, and performance testing activities
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Safeguard QA standards, best practices and contribute to continuous improvement
• Take ownership of testing initiatives within your domain

As you grow further in this role, you will:

• Lead testing efforts across projects or domains
• Define and improve quality standards and testing strategies
• Mentor junior testers and share best practices
• Strengthen automation and performance testing capabilities within the team

We’d love to see the following aspects as well:

• Several years (5+ preferred) of experience in functional testing within an enterprise software product environment
• Proven experience testing complex platforms (ERP systems experience is a strong plus)
• Strong knowledge of test design techniques and structured testing methodologies
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
• Familiarity with integration testing and performance/load testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate closely with both business and technical stakeholders
• Leadership mindset with mentoring capabilities
• Experience working in an Agile setup
• Fluent in English, as we are an international and multicultural company
