Senior Game & Interactive Designer

What you'll do

• Drive interaction design: Lead the end-to-end design of game mechanics, controls, and user feedback systems across our gamified cognitive and physical training platforms.
• Conduct user research & observation: Observe seniors and caregivers in real-world settings (e.g., elderly care centers, hospitals) to identify friction points and translate observations into intuitive design improvements.
• Set design priorities: Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Game Developers to prioritize UX/gameplay features within the product roadmap.
• Bridge design and technical execution: Partner with our game development and AI teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure high-fidelity implementation of interactive concepts.
• Advocate for inclusive design: Define design standards for accessibility, ensuring platforms are engaging, accessible, and enjoyable for users with varying cognitive and physical capabilities.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in game design, interactive design, or digital product design (a strong portfolio showcasing interaction design and user flows is required).
• Strong design thinking & user sensitivity: Deep empathy for end-users, with a proven ability to analyze user responses and iterate rapidly based on real-world feedback.
• Proactive & creative initiative: A self-starter who brings innovative ideas to the table and takes ownership from concept to launch.
• Agility & adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve based on clinical, user, and market feedback.
• SDLC fluency: Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle and experience collaborating closely with developers, testers, and product leads.
• AI & emerging tech awareness: Exposure to integrating Generative AI, machine learning, or smart sensor inputs into interactive experiences.
• Good to have experience designing digital products or games tailored for senior users, accessibility, or health/rehabilitation contexts.
• Experience in gamification mechanics for non-gaming applications (health, education, or social impact).
