Senior General Manager (Electrical)

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of 11/33 kV overhead and underground electrical line projects from survey and planning to commissioning and handover.
• Manage multiple project sites, site engineers, supervisors and contractors.
• Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower, materials, resources and budgets.
• Oversee cable laying, DP structures, CT/PT installation, substations and meter cubicle works.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE requirements, electrical safety standards and project quality specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, DISCOMs and government authorities for approvals, inspections and project requirements.
• Monitor project progress, resolve technical and site-related issues and ensure timely execution.
• Manage project cost control, billing, documentation and project closure.
• Lead, mentor and develop the field execution team.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and as per quality standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in 11/33 kV electrical line projects.
• Strong experience in end-to-end project execution and multi-site field management.
• Hands-on knowledge of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.
• Good understanding of DISCOM procedures, technical specifications, electrical safety and HSSE standards.
• Experience in cable laying, DP structures, CT/PT, substations and metering works.
• Strong project planning, resource management, cost control and execution skills.
• Excellent leadership, team management, negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience in client, DISCOM and government authority coordination.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required
