About The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Golang Developer with 6+ years of software development experience to join our engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Go/Golang, backend development, microservices, REST APIs, databases, and cloud technologies .

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend services while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Golang.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and production-ready code.
• Design and implement highly scalable and reliable backend services.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Implement concurrency and parallel processing using Go routines, channels, and related Go features.
• Integrate applications with third-party services and internal APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD, containerization, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Follow best practices related to security, scalability, observability, and software engineering.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang/Go.
• Strong understanding of Go programming concepts, concurrency, goroutines, channels, and error handling.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented/programming concepts.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Good understanding of Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Experience with gRPC.
• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering , or a related field is preferred.
