Job Title: Senior Graph Data Engineer (Neo4j / Cypher) Location: Remote **Job Type: Contract

Duration: 6 Months** **Work Type: Remote

Woking Hours – EST time zone (Either 2:00p.m to 10:00p.m IST / 5:30p.m to 2:30 IST)** Job Description

• Hands-on graph engineer responsible for implementing the graph data layer, including data modeling, ingestion, and performance optimization. Baxter is seeking programmers (Cypher), not administrators.
• The new hire will have strong internal support, including a lead with ~15 years of Neo4j experience and two advanced team members.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of data engineering experience
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on Neo4j experience (programming, not administration)
• Expertise in graph data modeling (nodes, relationships, indexing strategies)
• Proficiency in the Cypher query language
• Experience handling structured and unstructured data sources
• Knowledge of data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
• Familiarity with APIs and/or event-driven ingestion
• Experience working in AWS environments

Responsibilities

• Design and implement graph data models
• Integrate multiple data sources into the graph platform
• Optimize query performance and scalability
• Collaborate on integration with the Subscription Worker
