SENIOR GRAPHICS DESIGNER

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer - Packaging & Brand Design with strong product-packaging, label and print-production capabilities. The role requires a trained designer with professional technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop creative concepts and designs for new and existing MYK Cosmetics products.

● Design product labels, cartons, bottles, containers and other product packaging.

● Adapt artwork for different product sizes, variants and packaging formats.

● Prepare accurate production-ready artwork for printing and manufacturing.

● Translate product-development briefs into professional visual concepts.

● Create product mock-ups and packaging presentations for management review.

● Review existing packaging and recommend improvements where necessary.

● Maintain consistency across MYK's product portfolio and brand identity.

● Work with printers, packaging suppliers and production teams to ensure accurate reproduction.

● Maintain properly organized editable/source files for all company designs.

Required Technical Skills

● Strong practical proficiency in CorelDRAW.

● Strong practical proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.

● Strong practical proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.

● Knowledge of additional professional design, 3D mock-up or visualization software is an advantage.

● Ability to use AI tools as part of a professional workflow without depending on AI as a substitute for design skill.

Requirements

● Proven professional experience in graphic design.

● Strong portfolio demonstrating actual design ability.

● Experience in product packaging, labels, cosmetics or FMCG design is strongly preferred.

● Good understanding of typography, colour, layout, branding and visual hierarchy.

● Understanding of CMYK, bleed, resolution, dielines and production-ready files.

● Ability to create original concepts rather than relying solely on templates.

● Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

● Ability to receive feedback and revise designs professionally.

Portfolio Expectations

● Product packaging and labels.

● Cosmetics/beauty or FMCG packaging.

● Carton designs and product mock-ups.

● Brand identity development.

● Print-ready artwork and examples showing technical production knowledge.

Pay: ₦250,000.00 - ₦300,000.00 per month
