Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, and annual returns, within

statutory timelines.

• Perform monthly reconciliation of GSTR-2B, purchase registers, sales registers, and electronic

ledgers.

• Monitor and maximize eligible Input Tax Credit (ITC) while ensuring compliance with GST

provisions.

• Follow up with vendors for GST compliance and resolution of ITC mismatches.

• Review invoices, debit notes, and credit notes to ensure GST compliance.

• Reconcile GST liability with financial records and books of accounts.

• Prepare GST workings and schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance

requirements.

• Handle GST notices, departmental queries, audits, and assessments in coordination with

consultants and management.

• Maintain proper documentation and records related to GST filings and reconciliations.

• Track amendments in GST laws and assess their impact on business operations.

• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, and Operations teams to

resolve GST-related issues.

• Assist in statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.

• Ensure timely payment of GST liabilities and reconciliation of electronic cash and credit ledgers.

• Generate periodic MIS reports on GST compliance, ITC status, and tax liabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• 25 years of experience in GST compliance and indirect taxation.

• Strong knowledge of GST return filing, reconciliations, and ITC provisions.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
