Senior Hardware Engineer (Compute Test)

About the Opportunity

A leading developer of advanced semiconductor test and measurement technologies is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to support the development of next-generation digital instrumentation and compute test platforms. This role offers a blend of hands-on hardware design, system-level problem solving, and technical leadership across complex development programs.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, prototype, and test advanced digital hardware systems
• Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and component selections
• Develop high-speed PCB and multilayer board designs
• Support hardware architecture, bring-up, validation, and debugging
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and signal-integrity issues
• Collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams
• Drive projects from concept through production release
• Improve hardware design, testing, and manufacturing processes
• Support product reliability, performance, and customer requirements

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years of hardware engineering experience
• Strong background in digital circuit design
• Experience designing high-speed PCBAs and multilayer boards
• Knowledge of signal integrity principles
• Experience with hardware debugging tools including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
• Understanding of hardware validation and quality processes
• Experience with SERDES technologies
• Familiarity with PCIe and/or 100G Ethernet protocols
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment
