We are looking for a highly experienced Senior HIL Bench Developer & Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Belchamp, France, working on automotive HIL test bench development.

Location: Belchamp, France

Contract: Minimum 12-month contract

Industry: Automotive / Software Testing

VISA: Work Authority to work in France

🚗 Join Our Automotive Engineering Team

In this role, you will support the development, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automotive HIL test benches, with a focus on HIL systems, bench setup, debugging, and user support activities.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and commission Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches.
• Design and implement HIL bench architecture and test environments.
• Perform bench integration, wiring, configuration, and validation activities.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and communication-related issues.
• Develop automation scripts and support bench software development.
• Provide technical support and training to HIL bench users.
• Ensure bench reliability, maintainability, and operational readiness.
• Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting activities.

🎯 Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in automotive HIL development and commissioning.
• Strong experience with HIL platform
• Expertise in HIL bench development, commissioning, integration, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in coding/scripting, wiring & electrical integration, and test automation.
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical/electronic systems.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy.

⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with NI VeriStand, LabVIEW, PXI, dSPACE, or Vector-based HIL environments.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet protocols.
• Familiarity with ECU validation processes and the automotive development lifecycle.

🌍 Languages:

English: Professional fluency required for collaboration with international teams.

French: Professional fluency is desirable.
