Senior HR Associate

About the role

ALFC Insurance Agency Corporation is seeking a Senior HR Associate to join our Human Resources team. This is a full-time position based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will provide strategic and operational HR support to our organisation, playing a key part in building and maintaining our workplace culture whilst ensuring compliance with local labour regulations. As a Senior HR Associate, you will work closely with senior management and department heads to develop and implement HR initiatives that drive organisational success and employee engagement.

What you'll be doing

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees
• Administer employee benefits programmes, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee welfare initiatives
• Handle employee relations matters, including grievance resolution, disciplinary procedures, and performance management support
• Ensure compliance with Philippine labour laws and regulations, including policies on work hours, leave entitlements, and statutory requirements
• Develop and deliver HR policies and procedures that support organisational objectives and create a positive workplace environment
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with data protection requirements
• Support the design and implementation of training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and career progression
• Assist with compensation and benefits reviews to ensure competitiveness and fairness across the organisation
• Collaborate with department managers to address workforce planning needs and resource allocation
• Provide HR guidance and mentoring to junior HR staff, where applicable

What we're looking for

• 1-3 years of experience in a Human Resources function, preferably within a consulting, generalist HR, or related environment
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labour laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation
• Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Professional HR certification (such as CHRM, CIPD, or similar) is advantageous
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
