Senior HR Executive

Responsibilities:

Operational

• Handle recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities including work pass management.
• Maintain and update employees’ personal files and leave in HR system.
• Checking of employee attendance and overtime records of staff and workers
• Responsible for coordinating and submitting of documents for payroll processing (payroll performed by Finance Manager)
• Liaise with blue collar production workers and production supervisors for all HR Related matters, including tracking of work study diploma students
• Handle insurance related claims and liaise with insurance broker
• Handle training and development of employees
• Handle Travelling bookings for employees
• Liaise with government department for HR related matters

HR Policy, Reporting, Compliance Activities

• Business partner to advise and support department heads in HR initiatives and strategies
• Lead in charge of HR initiatives, such as Employee Wellness programme, human rights policy and activities in relation to employee engagement.
• Works with Corporate office to draft, review and update HR related processes and forms
• Ensure employment policies and practices comply with local statutory and regulatory requirements by keeping up to date with latest changes.
• Other new initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Human Resource or equivalent
• Has good working knowledge of labour laws and Employment Act
• People-oriented, resourceful and possess good critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Good written and interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities
• Pro-active and receptive to dynamic changes
• Well organized and meticulous with an eye for detail
• Genuinely interested in building a long-term career in Human Resources.

Remuneration package:
