Senior HR Generalist | Temporary

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for an HR professional who is looking to join a well-established national association. This role will work across HR programs, recruiting, employee relations, benefits, and more!

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee and manage heavy employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations
• Develop initiatives and procedures to increase efficiency and measure success of human resources programs
• Administer benefits and compensation programs with team
• Oversee the recruitment of new staff, including diversity initiatives
• Manage learning development programs
• Conduct surveys and analyze data for program improvements
• Contribute to position and compensation review and analysis
• Plan and execute events to improve employee morale and increase productivity
• Maintain knowledge of best practices, employment laws, and regulatory changes that impact HR

Qualifications Include:

• 8+ years of HR experience
  • Experience being the sole HR representative for an organization
  • Association experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience handling high volume employee relations issues
• Benefits administration experience required
• Bachelor's degree required
  • SHRM-CP, PHR or SPHR certificate preferred
• Leadership skills and confidence to spearhead HR initiatives
• Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail

Compensation:

• 90-115K annually

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
