SENIOR HR MANAGER

About The Role

As Senior Manager, Human Resources, you will serve as a strategic partner to the Leadership Team, shaping the people agenda that drives sustainable business growth and long-term competitiveness. This role owns workforce strategy, organisational design, leadership capability, and culture across ECOSYS, with a direct impact on the organisation's ability to scale and succeed in both local and global markets.

What You Will Deliver

• Define and lead the country people strategy, aligning workforce, capabilities, and culture with business growth goals
• Drive organisational design and operating model transformation to boost scalability, productivity, and cost efficiency
• Build a strong leadership pipeline through succession planning and leadership development for critical roles
• Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership on organisational structure, talent strategy, and workforce effectiveness
• Lead strategic workforce planning demand forecasting, capability gap analysis, and talent deployment
• Apply workforce analytics to drive data-informed decisions on productivity, hiring, and retention
• Own the end-to-end talent agenda, including the attraction, development, engagement, and retention of critical talent
• Oversee compensation and benefits strategy, ensuring market competitiveness and alignment with group frameworks
• Design and drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, and overall employee experience
• Lead large-scale transformation and change management initiatives, ensuring organisational readiness, adoption, and sustainability across the country
• Guide leadership teams through operating model shifts and business evolution while shaping a culture aligned to business priorities
• Ensure full compliance with local labour laws and industrial relations frameworks in Malaysia
• Oversee HR operations, budgets, and service delivery to ensure efficiency, scalability, and sound governance
• Lead HR due diligence and people integration strategies for organisational restructuring activities
• Drive the deployment of HR systems, policies, and processes across the country
• Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing HR team, building succession readiness and leadership continuity within the HR function

What You Bring

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field
• Min 10+ years of progressive HR experience across broad HR functions
• Background in manufacturing/semiconductor/engineering, or other technical/industrial settings preferred
• Proven track record designing and executing HR strategies with measurable business impact
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment and industrial relations law, including domestic inquiry experience
• Experience managing medium-to-large workforces and leading organisational transformation and productivity initiatives
• Strong business acumen, financial literacy, and ability to translate business needs into HR solutions
• Solid expertise in organisational development, especially in business expansion/restructuring contexts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex workforce challenges
• Skilled in project management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration
• Comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels
• Strong conflict resolution and consensus-building skills
• HR digitalization experience is a plus
• Agile, empathetic, and people-focused, with a genuine commitment to building high-performing teams
