Senior HR Operations Manager - EMEA

We are partnering with a leading global hedge fund to appoint a Senior HR Operations Manager to support the firm’s continued growth across EMEA. As part of a lean, high-performing team, you will take ownership of the effective delivery and continuous improvement of core HR operations across EMEA. This role combines operational leadership, vendor management, data integrity and delivering a consistently high-quality employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle, with the opportunity to lead a small team across EMEA.

This is an opportunity for an experienced People Operations professional to take genuine ownership within a fast-paced, international environment, working across multiple jurisdictions and partnering closely with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day People Operations across EMEA, covering onboarding, employee changes, mobility, benefits, employee records and offboarding.
• Lead People Operations activity for strategic projects, including new office and location launches.
• Ensure robust processes, controls and documentation are maintained across the employee lifecycle and remain compliant and audit-ready.
• Drive continuous improvement across People Operations, identifying opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls and enhance the employee experience.
• Act as the escalation point for complex employee queries and operational issues, exercising sound judgement and discretion.
• Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Recruitment, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Legal, Compliance, Finance, IT and external providers.
• Oversee international mobility, ensuring relocations and assignments are delivered smoothly and compliantly.
• Support compensation and benefits processes, including complex employee changes and local regulatory requirements.
• Produce and analyse key risk reporting, maintaining high standards of HR data integrity and supporting audits and regulatory reviews.
• Manage and hold external vendors accountable for service delivery and performance.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• 9+ years’ relevant HR experience, ideally within People Operations, HR Operations or HR Service Delivery in Financial Services.
• Experience supporting multiple EMEA jurisdictions and working within a regulated environment; knowledge of SMCR and remuneration requirements strongly preferred.
• Strong HR systems experience; Workday experience advantageous.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Proven ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-performing and highly confidential environment.
• A strong relationship builder who can work effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• An ambitious and proactive People Operations professional ready to take ownership of a regional remit.
