Senior HRIS Implementation Project Manager / Consultant

Our client is seeking an experienced HRIS Implementation Project Manager / Consultant to lead and coordinate the preparation and implementation of a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The successful Consultant will work closely with internal HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Data Protection, Information Security and business stakeholders, as well as the selected HRIS implementation partner.

This is a senior project management assignment requiring strong HRIS implementation expertise, stakeholder management capabilities and the ability to coordinate a complex, multi-disciplinary transformation program.

The role

• Project mobilisation, governance & planning: Lead project set-up, governance, planning, stakeholder coordination, meetings, decision-making and implementation transition

• Functional scope & requirements: Facilitate workshops, gather and prioritise business requirements, define implementation scope and phasing, document decisions and identify future development opportunities.

• Implementation & supplier coordination: Coordinate the HRIS supplier and internal stakeholders across configuration, data migration, integrations, testing/UAT, training, change management, deployment, go-live and post-go-live stabilisation.

• Project control & reporting: Manage risks, issues, dependencies, actions, change requests, timelines, resources and budget, while providing clear progress and management reporting.

HRIS Scope: modernise and streamline HR processes and employee experience,

• Core HR & talent: Organisation charts, job catalogue, employee profiles, goal setting, performance management, Nine Box and succession planning.

• Employee lifecycle: Recruitment, onboarding, training and promotions.

• Data, reporting & access: Dashboards, reporting, data extraction/integration, employee access portal, search, help and multilingual capabilities.

• Future scalability: The solution should provide a strong foundation for potential future modules such as compensation management, skills management and AI-enabled capabilities.

The profile

·        Experienced project manager (10+ years) with a strong track record in HRIS/HR technology implementations, including at least two comparable projects with at least one full go-live.

·        Skilled in managing all project phases—governance, planning, risk, budget, stakeholders, and reporting—as well as HRIS-specific work like functional scoping, data migration, integrations, testing/UAT, training, and change management.

·        Vendor and stakeholder coordination across multicultural, multi-stakeholder environments

·        Solid HR functional knowledge (payroll, recruitment, L&D, access management) paired with strong communication skills (workshops, documentation, reporting)

·        Public/research sector experience and familiarity with Luxembourg's HR/regulatory landscape are pluses

·        Languages: fluent in French & English
